It is exciting to read this today. I feel this way all the time. The ones who really threaten us are our neighbors, the ones who snitch to the thug squads (police), and the police too are ordinary people of our "class" who are being used like toilet paper; the pen pushers who sign off on their orders, again people just like us, who live amongst us; the young men and few women who go use weapons on unarmed people and yes the doctors and nurses who don't look beyond the headlines of the news. The whole ball of wax stinks to high heaven. We "honor" those who do the deeds, of course, that's all planned, all programmed. Only when we make the change inside us, when we refuse to do harm to others, when we see others as being another "me" and me being another "them", will humanity get past its retardedness and primitiveness and barbarity. Many people have this heart right now, we just need more who haven't to understand that no one is safe, not even them, when we think in terms of sadism towards others, when we push our will upon others. There ought to be no room for that in society. It is us though who can start something new, for example, having databases of people who do good things in their everyday lives. Starting perhaps with environmental consciousness, people who don't own a car, people who use public transport or walk or ride a bike to work, people who don't put trash out every week, people who don't use paper disposable hand towels, etc. It starts by paying recognition to the ones who do good. But at the moment, there is no recognition of these people.
