He Got Out of Gaza, But Gaza Didn't Get Out Of Him
Hypocrisy: Climate Change Narrative vs The Global War Agenda
I have been ruminating over this post for several days now. Reeling through anger moments and tears. I wondered about how to approach this subject. I also went thru an innumerable number of articles in hopes of finding something that substantively made sense.
Today we hear folks talking about the possibility of a 3rd World war, but to me it seems the world has been at War since forever, because there are wars all the time in every part of the world.
In the same breath since forever, we hear over and over again how endangered the environment is. Even to the point of creating policies that charge a carbon tax, threaten the so-called “way of life” of the citizens, force people to drive electric cars and get rid of their gas stoves. They blame farmers and cow-farts for carbon emissions. Yet no one seems to ever talk about how wars cause more devastation on the eco-system of the very planet they claim to want to save. Why is that?
War On Terror Or War on the Planet Itself
I remember when the so-called war on terror started after 911. I only heard one report about the devastating impact of depleted uranium on the environment. The toxicity of these weapons last for thousands of years. I simply could not make sense of the disconnect. Why are these climate activists, naysayers, political alliances, public-private partnerships, the UN, WHO, and other so-called world bodies who supposedly care about the health of the planet and its inhabitants seem to completely leave out the utter eco-side that happens with wars and the instruments of it.
I watched a documentary some years ago called “Why We Fight” and even that documentary barely mentioned the impact that the war machine has on the environment. This documentary struck me as I saw how disconnected the people whose jobs involved the creation of the instruments of war, were so disconnected from the impact that these instruments had on the environment, the people, animals and nature that they were complicit in destroying. To them it was simply a job, and a good paying one, to work as a military contractor or sub-contractor. They simply do not go home and think about how many environmental catastrophes would happen as a result of their “simple job.” But why would they connect the dots, when the whole structure is designed to be so compartmentalized that one remains disconnected from the other.
But still it made no sense to me. We can see the toxins that are spewed into the environment just by looking at the plumes of toxic smoke going up into the air. Let alone the destruction that is left behind on the ground.
Are These Purveyors of Climate Change Sincere?
How can the biggest purveyors of climate change, global warming, et al, remain silent when they are at the same time, the biggest warmongers? Does the $$$ in their bank accounts blind them to the obvious big gorilla in the room? Or could it be that their mansions, lakes, ponds, and pristine acres of land surrounding them is not being bombed to “smithereens” Mr. Trump? https://x.com/i/status/1839096373825650803
After a deadly massacre of thousands of humans, I often wondered, what happens to the bodies? Surely they are not properly disposed of. But more importantly, I often wonder, what about the soldiers, the young men they send into these areas to be exposed after they just bombed it. We have the fat cats spouting rhetoric of “bomb them to smithereens” yet they seem to be oblivious to the consequences of their words on the very persons they want to do the bombing. Norman Finkelstein said they are playing video games. “They win in the air war.” But we all must be playing the same game because we seem to be desensitized about the wounded, mangled, dismembered bodies of those left behind in real life. Their blood is not fake, their wounds do not magically recover, they don’t magically regain their strength to continue fighting.
The genocide has turned the landscape into a toxic wasteland.
“Nearly 40 million tons of debris, including unexploded ordnance and human remains, contaminate the ecosystem,” the report goes on. “More than 140 temporary waste sites and 340,000 tons of waste, untreated wastewater and sewage overflow contribute to the spread of diseases such as hepatitis A, respiratory infections, diarrhea and skin diseases. As Israeli leaders promised, Gaza has been made unfit for human life.” Read the UN Report of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967, Francesca Albaneseby here
How do we resolve the cognitive dissonance when we have a myriad of violent games and movies and in the same breath we punish the bully in the school yards across the landscape. How do we tell our children to solve their problems amicably when world leaders go to war instead. How can we deride anyone who wants to own an assault weapon or any weapon for their protection, when world leaders arm dissident fighters through arms trafficking? How do we call for Peace Not War, when war spending-budgets are the bedrock of a country’s economy?
The Information Blind Spot and the Gap in Global Climate Agreements
The lack of transparency, often referred to as the “military emissions gap,” arises from the voluntary reporting of military emissions within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The 1997 Kyoto Protocol and the 2015 Paris Agreement exempted military emissions reporting, citing national security concerns. Consequently, many governments choose not to report them.
In 2020, 40 industrialized nations spent approximately $1.27 trillion on their armed forces, but only five countries reported their military emissions in line with United Nations guidelines. Furthermore, 15 other countries, including China, India, and Saudi Arabia, spent a combined total of about $510 billion on their military yet failed to provide any disaggregated data on military emissions (Lancaster University 2021). Emissions from U.S. military activities abroad, including operations such as jet flights, naval sailings, and military exercises, have been exempt from reporting requirements.
Efforts are underway to address this blind spot. Environmental groups and scholars are employing research papers, letter-writing campaigns, and conferences to promote the incorporation of military emissions into global carbon accounting. In just the first five months of 2023, 17 peer-reviewed articles on this topic were published, indicating a growing awareness and concern (Mcfarlane and Volcovici 2023).
‘He got out of Gaza, but Gaza did not get out of him’: Israeli soldiers returning from war struggle with trauma and suicide War is more than just traumatic for the soldiers, it traumatizes the entire environment.
What is Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)? PTSD is a mental health condition caused by very stressful, frightening or distressing events, according to the UK National Health Service. Someone with PTSD often relives the traumatic event through nightmares and flashbacks, and may experience feelings of isolation, irritability and guilt. PTSD can develop immediately after someone experiences a disturbing event, or it can occur weeks, months or even years later.

‘Discourse on Colonialism’ by Aimé Césaire
“First we must study how colonization works to decivilize the colonizer, to brutalize him in the true sense of the word, to degrade him, to awaken him to buried instincts, to covetousness, violence, race hatred, and moral relativism; and we must show that each time a head is cut off or an eye put out in Vietnam and in France they accept the fact, each time a little girl is raped and in France they accept the fact, each time a Madagascan is tortured and in France they accept the fact, civilization acquires another dead weight, a universal regression takes place, a gangrene sets in, a center of infection begins to spread; and that at the end of all these treaties that have been violated, all these lies that have been propagated, all these punitive expeditions that have been tolerated, all these prisoners who have been tied up and "interrogated," all these patriots who have been tortured, at the end of all the racial pride that has been encouraged, all the boastfulness that has been displayed, a poison has been distilled into the veins of Europe and, slowly but surely, the continent proceeds toward savagery.”
The Greater Israel Settler’s Mission
What I don’t understand is how these so-called settlers think or even imagine that they can descend upon a land filled with dead bodies, toxins & debris. In fact, how do they not see their own health and well being at risk as they board boats to witness the bombing of Gaza? The deadly acrid smoke hoisted into the air, filling the skies with all kinds of toxins, known and unknown, yet they fill emboldened to move into the area that has been decimated down to rubble and plant their lives in it. Does their sense of superiority, rage, revenge and hubris make them feel that they are impervious to the affects of the death and destruction left behind by their invading military force? It has been reported that it will take close to 350 years to rebuild Gaza as 70% of it is totally devastated. Obviously, these settlers did not get the memo.
Conflict pollution, washed-up landmines and military emissions – here’s how war trashes the environment Published: November 13, 2023 6:07pm EST
When armed conflict breaks out, we first focus on the people affected. But the suffering from war doesn’t stop when the fighting does. War trashes the environment. Artillery strikes, rockets and landmines release pollutants, wipe out forests and can make farmland unusable.
One in six people around the world have been exposed to conflict this year, from civil war in Sudan to Russia’s war in Ukraine to the Israel-Hamas war.
War has returned. Conflicts are at their highest point since the second world war. Deaths are at a 28-year high. As we grapple with the immediate plight of people, we must not lose sight of what war leaves behind – the silent casualty of the environment.
What damage does war do?
Armed conflict leaves a long trail of environmental damage, which in turn can worsen our health and that of other species.
Chemical weapons and pollution from weapons stay in the environment as a toxic legacy. Explosives release pollutants such as depleted uranium into soil, while landscapes can be destroyed by troop movement and the breakdown of infrastructure.
Spiritual & Mental Health
While I did not find a single article addressing this most important topic, and believe me I read plenty which I will list the links in another post, I am remiss to understand how we humans are not taking into account the enormous affront to our sensibilities as we watch in real time, a genocide taking place before our very eyes.
The My Lai massacre was one of the most horrific incidents of violence committed during the Vietnam War. A company of American soldiers brutally killed most of the people—women, children and old men—in the village of My Lai on March 16, 1968. More than 500 people were slaughtered in the My Lai massacre, including young girls and women who were raped and mutilated before being killed. U.S. Army officers covered up the carnage for a year before it was reported in the American press, sparking a firestorm of international outrage. The brutality of the My Lai massacre and the official cover-up fueled anti-war sentiment and further divided the United States over the Vietnam War. The coverup of the My Lai Massacre continued until Ron Ridenhour, a soldier in the 11th Brigade who had heard reports of the massacre but had not participated, began a campaign to bring the events to light.
While the My Lai Massacre was initially covered-up, it eventually came to light. The world was horrified but My Lai was not the only horrific event perpetrated by the US military forces during the Vietnam War. Today, we blatantly see what is happening to the Palestinians by the IDF/IOF but this time, we see it in real time, while the US is doling out bushels of money and munitions to Israel (same with Ukraine) as some form of proxy to the atrocities while appearing to not be immediately involved.
Meanwhile the nightmares continue, the suicidal ideations continue, the destruction continues and the stench of dead bodies fill the air only overridden by the screams of terror, grief and hopelessness. The stench, the screams, the grief lingers in the very essence of all who experience it. The victims and the so called victors alike.
Ask the soldiers who return home from battle. Ask the ones to turn to drugs and alcohol to silence the relentless cacophony of tumultuous clamor in their heads. Ask the psychiatrists who treat these veterans with psychotropic drugs as a preventative measure to stop the noise. So yes, he got out of Gaza, but Gaza did not get out of him to the point where he was incapable of handling the horrors of his own actions during the war and suicide was the only way out for him.
In another post I discuss the ramifications of the IDF soldiers’ sexual abuse.
SDE Teiman Exposes Israeli Systemic Rape
While watching Ryan Cristian's reporting on the sexual abuse perpetrated by IDF soldiers onto Palestinian detainees, many thoughts came to mind. Ryan reported on the many horrors Palestinians endure while in the Israeli Torture Prisons that have been equated to
Any traumatic death for any reason drives an indelible shock into the soul and spirit of the individual. Why do we say, “Rest In Peace” if death is supposed to be a peaceful end? If souls have been forcibly ejected into the ethers then these souls will not rest in any kind of peaceful state. The spirit of anyone killed violently will linger perpetually in the invisible realms. They will carry the haunting energetic frequency of the violence, grief, terror, anger, remorse, revenge, hopelessness, to name just a few. We have all seen and heard stories about haunted houses and gravesites. These events are real as are the nightmares of the survivors. War is not a video game. There are real spiritual consequences that linger long after the dust has cleared. In fact, the cleaning and clearing of such catastrophic events are hardly ever if ever cleansed and cleared. Maybe that is why this world stays hauntingly at war.
The energetic frequency that is immitted by the trauma of wars on this planet, haunt even those of us who are not active participants. I can’t help but wonder how the Israeli settlers can even imagine that they will “rest well” in an environment filled with so much trauma.
Of course, war has many negative effects on the human mind and body environment as well! Death, injury, sexual violence, malnutrition, illness, disability and displacement are some of the most threatening physical consequences of war, while post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression and anxiety are some of the emotional effects. Toxic dust, contaminated water sources and chemical residues lead to cancer, birth defects and such conditions that are potentially linked to environmental pollution in severe cases. https://www.fawco.org/global-issues/environment/environment-articles/4767-impact-of-war-on-our-natural-environment
Case in point, small children are highly sensitive to energy. They can often have an aversion to someone who carries a certain energy that would make them visibly uncomfortable to have them near them. Do these Israeli settlers think that their children will not have experience any ill effects from living in an environment that has been decimated by a horrendous war before their arrival?
Human beings have done and continue to do, dastardly things to one another. No matter how many times humans try to convince themselves that they are impervious to the consequences of their actions, they will soon come to know that there is no escape. It is a universal law that whatever you do in goodness will be rewarded manifold and whatever you do to harm will be returned to you, in some form or fashion.
Conclusion
While I still remain mystified by the hubris of a warmongering populace, I must say that the hypocrisy of these people who claim to be climate and human rights activists are playing an enormous slight of hand on the masses, or they are simply functioning from the alters created by the heinous acts that may have been perpetrated against them. Thus they simply have no other recourse but to continue to perpetuate the horrors that had been rendered upon them. They must all be lost in a loop of reactionary triggers of kill or be killed.

I just read your article again, good start but the ending kills it
About where does the spirit goes, your belief is yours “you choose your destiny”.
Death is always violent, perhaps even more when just don’t wake up.
I don’t believe in stories of hunted homes, I carry my spirits and they are always with me when I call them.
Spirits and Energies are always present, and the spirit comes in many forms.
Also you keep in mind that Palestinian people are reading your stories, so perhaps bee more sensitive towards those who are there because with your ending are basically killing them twice.
Not nice.
So far we know that at list 85000 tons of explosive have been exploded in Gaza alone.
This is estimated equivalent to 6 Hiroshima nuclear bombs, exploded over the most densely populated area in the world.
Some years ago I read about a study which was calculating the heat produced by the explosions in “candle hour”, but when I try to find any related articles on line I now find nothing.
About the cow farts, the argument, just like the one on global warming, now debunked and rebranded under the slogan “climate change”, was also demolished when in an interview debate with gates, after gates told about the supposed devastating effect of cow farts, someone took him on a challenge. The challenge was asking to spend a night in a garage, and with car with a running engine, while the challenger would have spent the night in a same size garage, but with two cows, and that they would have both met the next morming for breakfast, and discussed about their experience. Unfortunately gates refused the challenge, and allegedly he stop talking about cow farts since.
About wars, they are made to lower and control the population through death and fear, and yes, soldiers always end up killing them selfs in greater number than of those killed on the battle field. This is well recorded ever since the first gulf war.
Thank you for sharing.
